Amy Marie Caldwell Bixby (1974 - 2011)

Westminster, CO
Amy Marie Caldwell Bixby of Westminster, CO, went to be with her Lord August 19, 2011, at the Denver Hospice Care Center. She was born in Greenville, SC, May 23, 1974. She graduated from Hampton Park Christian School in 1992 and received an associate's degree in church ministries from Ambassador Baptist College in 1995. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Jon Bixby; their seven children, Cara, John, Nathan, Arielle, Eliana, Jeremiah, & Gilead, all of the home; parents, Neil & Debby Caldwell, and sister, Teresa Caldwell, all of Taylors, SC; half sister, Cherie Pinkerton of Tucson, AZ; grandmother, Katherine Soule Young, of Greenville, SC; aunts and uncles, Beverly & Mike Presley, Sue Caldwell, Tom & Pat Young, Rachel & Jim Morgan, Becky Thompson, Sarah Jones, Lois Young, Joanna & Steve Davis, Priscilla & Dan Marsceau, Lydia & Bill Shirley, Stephen & Wende Young, Phillip & Missy Young, David & Gayla Young, Phebe & James Satterfield; 50 first cousins; and many extended family members, in-laws, and friends. Amy was preceded in death by half sister, Mitzi Caldwell; half brother, Chris Caldwell; grandparents, Nathaniel Caldwell, Sr., Irma Hataway Caldwell, and David Young, Sr.; uncles, Mark Young, Charles Caldwell, Nathan Jones, and Yancy Caldwell, Jr.; and aunt, Gayle Caldwell. Family will receive friends at Hampton Park Baptist Church, Greenville, SC, Saturday, August 27, at 2 pm. Memorial service will follow at 3 pm.
